One off night?

We were both tired and proximity seemed important when we were deciding where to go eat last night. You can't get any closer than Thompson's, when you're in our neighborhood.

Sadly, to sum it up, the food was so so and the music was on the loud side (yes, we're old).
It's tough to share your day with each other when you have to work to be heard and to hear.

I'm thinking we've been spoiled by WOM.

Interesting. Maybe other restaurants should check out WOM and take a hint. I've been hearing this kind of thing all over town.

It seems so simple, doesn't it? "The customer always comes first"

My first boss was great and he ran a restaurant by that creed. Problem was, the restaurant was part of a chain and the lengths he went to to ensure good customer service didn't meet the bottom line goals of the owners.
He'd built this wonderful community of regulars who kept coming back because of him, but sadly it wasn't what his bosses wanted.
